Dakhla offers wind almost all around the year, but the most consistent months and best season is March to October. You will experience stronger winds in summer and slightly lighter in winter.
Yes! The lagoon's flat water and safe conditions make it perfect for beginners, while advanced riders can enjoy freestyle and downwind adventures, and intermediate riders can focus on tricks and jumps.
Private lessons start at €120 for 2 hours with one-on-one instruction. Packages are available, such as 6 hours for €350 or 12 hours for €670.
Semi-private lessons (1 instructor for a group of 2 students) start at €100 for 2 hours, with options like 6 hours for €270 or 12 hours for €540.
All lessons include gear, transport, and beach assistance.
You can fly into Dakhla Airport (VIL), located about 20 minutes from Dakhla City and the lagoon area. Transfers can be arranged to most camps and hotels near the lagoon.
